Meet the Team

  • Luke Gunter

    DIRECTOR

Luke has over 10 years’ experience working within the health sector in a variety of roles. Luke graduated from university for the first time in 2013 with a Bachelor of Nursing and started his nursing career in Broken Hill base hospital NSW, where he was identified as the ‘new graduate of the year’. After honing his skills in emergency departments, and a burning desire to help disadvantaged Australians, Luke begun managing health care teams within the Justice Health (prison system), where he held a variety of managerial roles, over several years. Luke then went on to complete a Master of Health Management at the University of New South Wales. It’s in the prison system where Luke identified the need for experienced, mental health clinicians in the NDIS space, so he left his management position to go and work as a Registered Nurse in a Mental Health Intensive Care Unit to ensure he was adequately experienced to work within the NDIS. Luke is outcome focused and committed to providing the highest calibre of care.

  • Kayla Gunter

    SUPPORT WORKER and CO OWNER

Kayla, Luke’s beautiful wife of 10 years. Kayla’s has a background in early childhood education with over ten years’ experience and three young children of her own. Kayla displays passion for caring roles and whilst she felt fulfilled for the first part of her life educating young children, she knew her passion lay within a social work role. Through her younger years Kayla was in contact with social workers within her personal life being a young career for her younger sister. Kayla noted the care and compassion the social workers displayed for her family and the efforts they put forth to help support not only Kayla’s sisters’ goals but her families as well. This led Kayla to persue her degree in social work. Kayla understands the individualised voices of those impacted by disability and the abilities they possess.

“my sister is one of the smartest and strongest people, her abilities haven’t limited her in reaching her goals.” - Kayla
